The Order of the Polar Star (Swedish Nordstjärneorden) is a Swedish order of chivalry created by King Frederick I of Sweden on 23 February 1748. An almost exact replica of the Swedish Order of the Polar Star Breast Star. The star is cast in bronze and plated in a bright nickel. The piece measures a bit over 3 inches (76 mm) tall.
