Garter King at Arms Scepter

The Garter Principal King of Arms is the Senior Officer at the English College of Arms and the chief herald within the jurisdiction of the College. A full sized replica of the scepter carried by the English Garter King at Arms in the sixteenth century. The scepter is approximately 24 inches long and is made of gilded and enameled bronze and has a polished aluminum shaft. The handle is turned from ebony. The piece is beautifully enameled.
